The ReKapital Group has been operating in the Ukrainian market since 2007. We combine legal, financial and IT functions and provide the full debt servicing cycle — from the initial document to the court decision and the transfer of the case to enforcement officers.
Today, we have 300 employees, offices in Lviv and Kyiv, and a portfolio of more than 1 million cases.
About the role
We are looking for a leader who will be responsible for the development, efficiency and scaling of the Group’s legal function. The role covers 4 legal departments and a team of more than 80 professionals in Lviv.
The role reports directly to the Department Director. This is a position where decisions are made simultaneously on three levels: strategy, people, and operational execution.
Key areas of responsibility
Strategic management of the legal function through department heads.
Transformation of Legal Operations: automation, digitalization and practical implementation of AI in day-to-day processes.
Building scalable processes, standards, KPIs and an efficiency control system.
Development of the management team, competencies and succession within the department.
Partnership with top management in business decision-making.
What success will look like in the first year
A KPI system established across all 4 departments and transparent reporting for the Board.
At least 2 automation processes implemented in court case management.
Our expectations
Higher legal education.
Experience managing a legal team.
Experience in transforming and optimizing legal processes.
Ability to make decisions in situations involving a high level of responsibility.
Will be an advantage
Valid certificate/licence to practice law as an attorney.
Experience in the debt servicing/collection sector.
Experience implementing Legal Tech or AI solutions.
